‘Collections Reimagined’

‘Collections Reimagined’ takes new perspectives on the Society’s museum, library and archive holdings.

This new display will be in the new ‘SGS’ room at Ayscoughfee, the museum itself will also be open in Broad Street.

Highlights include rare pottery from antiquity to the modern day, an experimental cabinet of curiosities, and themed displays on railroads, crime and punishment, eclipses and more.

The exhibit marks the start of a more active partnership between the Society and Ayscoughfee, with additional displays and programmes planned for the coming months.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

If you aren’t able to join us, the exhibition will run until the end of the January and is accessible free of charge during Ayscoughfee Hall’s normal opening hours, currently Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:30-4pm.

Thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund for their continued support.
