Spalding Gentlemen’s Society has announced its new season of History Hunters, which is returning after a summer break. Running from September 2026, the activity club is perfect for curious young people who want to discover more about the past.
Aimed at children aged 5+, History Hunters offers a range of hands-on activities. It’s a chance to uncover intriguing facts, learn new skills, solve puzzles, try challenges, make new friends, and achieve badges.
Organiser Louisa Evans from Spalding Gentlemen’s Society says: “History Hunters has brought together a keen group of children who love finding out more about the past. Now, we have space for a few more families to join – don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to discover more about what’s on offer.”
The next sessions will be ‘A Grave Experience’ at Pinchbeck Church on Sunday 27th September, followed by ‘Fenland Folklore and Legends’ on Sunday 25th October and Sunday 22nd November (both of these sessions will be held at Spalding Baptist Church). All start at 1.30pm.
£3 per child. To book your place, please visit the events pages on www.sgsoc.org/forthcoming-events. For more information, email activities@sgsoc.org
