How does genetics help us understand and access the past? From Family History to Ancient DNA, new innovations in science are changing the ways that we think about and understand the past. This talk will look at new technologies that are shifting our sense of what it is to be human, thinking about examples like Richard III, books by Ali Smith, and examples such as TV shows DNA Detectives. No genetic knowledge necessary!
