This workshop is open to all – no matter your skills or experience – as a hands-on experience learning to read and transcribe a selection of modern documents from local history and to learn how Spalding became the town it is today.

The event includes sessions on ‘Researching social history and transcribing modern documents’ by Dr Gabby Storey, ‘The Postal Service in Spalding’ by Pat Wensor, and ‘Lincolnshire and the Poor Law’ by Dr Steve King.
